WE ARE THE FUTURE

Family Life Youth is a vibrant and growing ministry serving all middle & high school students. Students gather every Wednesday night at 6:30PM for games, food, a relevant message, and end the night in our gender and grade-specific small groups. Our heart at Family Life is to raise up WORLD CHANGERS by making an impact in our homes, schools, and cities.

WHAT TO EXPECT

The unknown can be scary, we know. It’s our hope that we can answer some of your questions and serve your family by mentoring, leading, and helping your student take important next steps toward Jesus. Family Life Students is for middle school & high school students.

What is Youth Night?

Family Life Youth meets for a weekly Wednesday night event for middle school and high school students. These services are themed each month to create an atmosphere where your student will experience worship, a message from God’s Word, and a fun “after-party” with their peers. Services are every Wednesday starting at 6:30 PM-8:30 PM

What are Student Groups?

Student Groups are a type of small group offered to middle and high school students every Wednesday directly after service. Each Student Group is led by one of our adult leaders who go through a background check, interview, and Small Group Leadership training class previous to serving with the Youth Team. During the group, your student will spend time in the Word, answer discussion questions relating to the sermon just preached, pray as a group, and grow in relationships with their peers and leaders. You can find out more information about small groups at the Small Group Directory

What do we offer for Middle School on Sunday mornings?

We encourage middle school students to “Worship One, Serve One” on Sundays! This means that they attend a service with their family and friends, and then dedicate another service time to serving others on the Dream Team. Our Middle School Coordinators host a “Pre-Teen Room” during our 11:15 AM service. Students connect in an environment designed to get them acclimated to Sundays. Our leaders take your student through an object lesson and have discussion time afterward. We also encourage our Middle School students to serve on the Dream Team! Whether on the greeter team, in Kid Town, or in the production booth, your middle schooler can go through the Growth Track and begin making a difference wherever they are!

How can I serve in Family Life Youth?

There are several ways that you, as a parent, can serve our Family Life Students! You can join our Wednesday team and lead a small group for students, serve on as Health & Safety for the building on Wednesdays nights, or serve in our Pre-Teen Room on Sundays. To learn more about how to get involved, you can go through the 3-step Growth Track happening on Sundays during our 11:15 AM service.

Can my student serve on the Dream Team?

Absolutely! We encourage all students to be involved and serve on the Dream Team. For middle school students, one of the best ways they can serve is to join the JV Dream Team within Kid Town. They can do this by going through the Growth Track and selecting the JV team. High school students are welcome to join the Dream Team as well!
